Fred Harden.
I started my training and working life as a photographer, turned into a film-maker, an
advertising agency producer, then got mixed up as a partner in two TV commercial production
companies. I've worked as a special effects producer, a freelance
writer, technical editor for Cinema Papers magazine and produced and edited a multimedia magazine
for Murdoch Magazines in Sydney.
With that background I fell neatly into
the New Media explosion and in the last five years have started and managed
a successful web and interactive company for Grey Worldwide.
I'm now back to writing and recording images of country producers, good food and wine for Regional Food Communications.

Jan and I have a combined family of three daughters who have pretty much
grown up and are now all living away from home, two at university, one
working. That makes home a little quieter, which suits this lovely old
(1880's) farm house. (Quiet is ok, but it's nice when the girls come home
as well. Yes, we do dinners.)
We're right in the town of
Bungendore
on a big block with lots of fruit trees and have a large vegetable garden.
Mark lives in Sydney and we're just a few hours drive away from each
other.
Jan O'Connell.
Jan's working life has been in advertising as a copy writer and, over the
last fifteen years, as a Creative Director of two top Melbourne advertising
agencies, she now works in the same role for a Canberra one. She has
created campaigns for major Australian and International companies,
written feature magazine articles, film scripts and was awarded a
Centenary Medal for her work on the Centenary of Federation advertising
that taught you all the name of our first Prime Minister.
While holding down a day job at the agency, Jan provides a critical and
creative mind and eye to Regional Food (and corrects my spelling).

Mark Kelly.
Mark was a director of Murdoch Magazines and Murdoch Media for most of the
the past decade. He has pioneered numerous multi-media brands and was
the first to successfully unite magazine, TV and web production teams.
He effectively leveraged both the brand and advertising, developing,
selling and producing in-house Better Homes and Gardens TV, (the
five-time Logie winning television show), and the largest multi-media
brand in the world (per capita). He launched marie claire and
Men’s Health magazines and Murdoch Media, securing the worldwide
rights to marie claire television and selling the first marie
claire TV documentary.
Mark is the founding chair of Fashion Targets Breast Cancer
in Australia and was also instrumental in establishing several breakthrough
community service projects such as National Family Day and most recently
Pink Ribbon magazine for the National Breast Cancer Foundation and the
Schools Peace Initiative for the Sydney Peace Foundation where he has served on
the executive committee since 1999.
At the beginning of 2006, Mark has taken the position of Publishing Director at
Time Inc. Australia. He has stepped back from the day to day operation of the
magazine and guides us gently from the sidelines.
