The venue was a big open room with windows facing the lake and mountains (with snow), there was great afternoon light (that washed out the two big screens at the sides. In fact the AV was a bit sloppy and couldn't play some presenters material which made it seem a bit like amateur night, when people had gone to some considerable trouble with power point, slide shows and DVD.)
Jane Adams, Chair of AFMA (that's her from behind and in the next photograph) introduced herself and assured us of her credentials telling us about her agisted chooks. She controlled the sessions firmly and kept the schedule on time.
