Everybody has one.
We want a shop too. Not to make us rich, but to try and get
some of the great produce that we write about into wider
hands. Yours.
So, let's make a deal. If there's something that you read
about in Regional Food, we'll get the producer and
you in touch. And we might even stand in the middle, and buy
a box or bundle and bring them back in the editorial suitcase,
(or camera bag) for resale.
For now, these are a small sample of the things we think are special,
and where you can get them.
Here's a perfect example.

Native Mountain Pepper
In our King Island issue we told how Caroline Kininmonth was harvesting
native pepper on King Island. We bought some and when we ran
out, we ordered some more direct from Caroline.
The product is seasonal, and first come is first served so
we've missed out this time. When she has more, we'll
stock up. Watch this
space.

Lynwood Preserves
Robbie Howard knows how to make jam. We wrote about Robbie
and the Lynwood cafe, in Issue 2. And they've got a nice
little website that sells direct to you.

Bellata
Gold Pasta
Not as hard to get, now that they've got good
east coast
distribution but the range of high quality flat packed pasta
made from their own wheat is worth chasing.
We told the
story in Issue
2, and we've had a lot do with Bellata since then and can
highly recommend the integrity and organic quality. If
you've got kids, they'll love the Kangaroo shaped Bellaroos.
