I'd like you to meet our host, wine maker Justin McNamee, (a
good Scottish name for a guy with rasta dreadlocks).
While that might be why would pick him out in a
crowd, once you've been introduced, you won't forget him.
He is an excitable boy. And if you visit the cellar
door for a wine tasting,
put aside some time to share, as he
leads you through his wines and shows you around the
beautiful old buildings. The place, the tastes,
aromas and are all part of what
Justin wants you to experience.
Justin has travelled and worked on vintages in the
Medoc, Napa and Yarra Valleys and for years he was
the winemaker at Tatachilla with Michael Fragos. Now
he and Fragos are wine neighbours. Chapel Hill is at
the top of the ridge that was the old Seaview
estate. Just turn left for 'The Gorge'.
