The introduction of the Poets Series to the range of Coriole
wine has a simple beginning.
Pressure came from their cellar
door because everyone was doing an illustrated artists
label, and they asked ‘Where’s Coriole's?’ It made Mark Lloyd
think laterally, or rather vertically.
“A long narrow label,
perfect for a poem I thought. Libby and I had been to the Mildura Writers Festival for the last few years, it’s a
great event, and last year’s festival featured the poetry of
Adelaide Hills poet Jude Aquilina. We started talking about
releasing the Series with a new poet each year and you can
see the first release for 2006.”
