We've corrected items in the The Guide in their appropriate areas but these are
the embarrassing bits we'd rather not have printed or missed.
The Old Stone House B&B in Bungendore
We were told that the fabulous historic building was closing as a B&B and
we checked, truly we did, but thank goodness it's NOT! Our apologies to Carolyn and Geoff
Banbury and we'll print a correction next issue. It's our recommended place to
stay in town for top quality B&B accommodation.

Jeremy Rozdarz Photographer
Because of our layout for the Grazing and Wine articles we didn't have room to use the
great food images taken by Jeremy to best advantage. I opted for a general credit
for the photographs rather than lots of little
ones beside the picture, but what happened was that NO credit ended up on the page
layout, or in the
Contributors section. Considering I managed to give my daughter a photo credit, it looked pretty bad that Jeremy didn't get his due appreciation. We will
correct that in the next issue, but this is my attempt at an apology. Thanks for
the great images Jeremy. See Jeremy Rozdarz Grazing

Swiss Preachers cake
You didn't really think we meant you to add '2 Tablespoons of baking
powder'? Teaspoons it clearly says in Owen and Noreen's original recipe and
we've now arranged for someone to check that sort of thing next issue. (I sat and
watched Noreen make that cake and then ate quite a lot of it with a cup of tea when we
visited. Very nice it was too .) See the correct recipe here. |
